My purpose in life is to learn as much as I can. I have always been a woman infatuated with academics, whether that be in class or researching whatever I can outside of school. Now that I am studying neuroscience, I can put that desire together to help others through the field of neurological research. As an anthropology minor, I also desire to travel as much as I can to widen my worldview and ensure that the research I do fits not just the cultures I grew up in, but for everyone in the world. I believe that with my motivation and genuine joy for learning, I'll be able to receive my PhD in neuroscience and use it to discover new things about the brain that will help everyone.
