I believe my primary purpose in life is to help others. As someone who tends to put others before themselves and derives happiness from making sure the people around them are okay, it’s important to me that my life surrounds the idea of helping. I plan to pursue this during my time in college through volunteering and joining clubs. As someone who transferred to UCF this spring, I spent a lot of time focusing on grades and attempting to save money beforehand. Which led me not to be very involved in the community. However, moving forward I am committed to looking for ways to help the community and make it a consistent part of my life. At UCF, I have joined a health-related club and volunteered with them at an organization. As i’m finding ways to balance certain aspects of my life, I hope to make this a consistent routine.
